CHS 2026: CampDoc & Classes workshop

Dear Parents and Leaders,

We now have a total of 17 Scouts and 6 Adults registered for CHS.  Please see below to complete the next steps:

1. CampDoc - Use sign-up link in your invitation email to create your account (click "Set Password"). This is required the very first time. Cannot go directly to CampDoc login page before completing account creation. The invitation link was sent to your email by Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council, or look for CampDoc Invite.  

   1. fill out medical form part A & B, and upload part C

   2. complete shooting sports releases if your child will be taking rifle or archery 

2. Classes workshop - both parents & Scouts must attend this Sun 4/12 (12-12:30pm)

   1. review MB schedule, see link for more details Camp Hi-Sierra Leader’s Portal

   2. go over your Parental Portal access to sign up merit badge classes on May 20 at 7pm

3. Campership - several of our Scouts who applied already received approval. The application takes about 5 mins to complete SVMBC-2026 Campership Application - Gary Robinson Fund

4. BSA registration - Parents who are going to CHS need to register or renew with BSA. Make sure to complete all below requirements.  If your child is still registered with pack 285, talk to Tr. Khanh to transfer your child registration to T285 or T2285

   1. go to Be A Scout Home Page - Boy Scouts of America

   2. enter any SJ zip code, select Scout BSA program, 

   3. select either Troop 285 or 2285 "Apply Now"

   4. register as an Adult volunteer

   5. Complete 2 required trainings & LiveScan background check (see link for more details)
